Thursday's Picks...

The opening night of college football is here, as games kick off in about an hour. With that bring said, you know I am going to offer my picks. So here we go, the picks for Thursday nights games...

Southern Miss v. South Carolina
Should be an interesting here, but ultimately SC has too many athletes for Southern Miss to pull the upset. For them to be successful they just pressure Stephen Garcia and hope he continues to make mistakes like he did last year, I don't think he does. This game will be close for a short time but SC will pull it out.

USC v. Hawaii
This game will be over by the middle of the 2nd quarter. Hawaii is typically a high powered offense, but they will be shut down by one of the better teams in the country. Look for the Lane Kiffin experiment to be a very good decision (even if its only for a few games). USC wins big.

Pittsburgh v. Utah
This is the game of the night. It should be a very entertaining. This is a reach of the Fiesta Bowl from a few years back. That game was won by Utah, they will not be so lucky this time. Dion Lewis will have a big game and Pitt will pull out a close one.

Saturdays picks will be up tomorrow.

UNTIL NEXT TIME...

  1. only thing is i think utah has won the last 17 straight home games and pit isn't that much better than them, i would not be comfortable beting against utah at home on opening night. Ryan Shellem
