I am a casual basketball fan, I can admit that. However, I do care enough about the sport to follow it and am very confused about something. If the goal is to win a national championship at the beginning of every season, why is the Final Four more important than the National Championship game itself? The games on Final Four Saturday are ALWAYS a bigger deal to the casual fan, than the game played on Monday. Why is this?
Perhaps it is because by the time we get to Championship Monday, we realize the 2 teams who we have believed to be the b est teams in the country have been eliminated a long time ago. Perhaps it is because there are 2 games. I do not know, but I am very curious as to why this is. Please share your thoughts, because I do not know...
don't know, don't care ,don't want to know, don't want to care.basketball is overrated
